MODERN RECOVERY ALLIANCE
Founding package edition 1.0
6 October 2026
Recovery that evolves with the world.

START WITH THESE
1. Read 05_Pamphlets/MRA_Community_Introduction_Booklet.pdf for the public overview.
2. Read 01_Platform/MRA_Founding_Platform.docx for the complete proposed platform.
3. Read 06_Sources_and_Review/MRA_Review_and_Decisions.docx to see what was retained, changed, expanded and left for members to decide.
4. Use 02_Operations/MRA_Community_Operations.docx and 03_Launch_and_Evidence/MRA_Launch_Plan.docx to turn discussion into a bounded pilot.

WHAT THIS PACKAGE IS
A unified founding proposal for a community people build and govern together. It develops the supplied MRA materials into a practical platform, operating handbook, visual identity and launch plan. MRA remains independent in purpose from Ryan's creative project. The Trap House Discord is proposed as the first co-design headquarters, with transparent technical ownership and a member decision about the long-term community home.

This is not an adopted constitution, incorporated organization, established service, clinical endorsement or promise of measured recovery outcomes. All new rules, thresholds and timelines are proposals. Participation, disagreement and revision are part of the intended founding process.

PACKAGE AUTHORITY
All files form one unratified edition 1.0. Once members adopt a charter, the adopted text controls governance and operations. The platform expresses commitments; the operating handbook gives procedures; publicity never creates unapproved services or powers. Conflicts between draft components are issues for open resolution, not an automatic founder override. Record the date and version of every adopted change.

FOLDERS
01_Platform: mission, vision, eight principles, twelve proposed community commitments, ten optional Foundations, milestones, independence and references.
02_Operations: roles, voting, complaints and appeals, privacy, finance boundaries, meeting format, crisis signposting, continuity, pilot and working templates.
03_Launch_and_Evidence: 90-day plan, four-week content starter, invitation and partnership copy, budgets, measures, Evidence Companion and structured source register.
04_Brand_Assets: scalable SVG logos, transparent PNGs, avatar, connection motif, brand guide, overview, three social graphics, concept illustration and asset manifest with alt text. Color, white and black logo variants are included. White variants need a dark background.
05_Pamphlets: print trifold, eight-page reading booklet, editable source text and generation script. See this folder's printing guidance before making copies.
06_Sources_and_Review: original source transcription, source provenance, changes, unresolved decisions and the final substantive review record.
07_Editable_Text: plain-text content for future collaborative revision. DOCX files are editable in compatible word processors; SVGs are vector masters; PNGs are ready-to-use exports. Brand SVG lettering is outlined to preserve appearance; regenerate from the supplied script to change that lettering.

EVIDENCE
E01 to E16 identify research and authoritative guidance, with support and limitations in the Evidence Companion. M1 to M3 are the launch plan's separately cited communication sources; B1 is the brand guide's W3C accessibility reference. S01 to S14 identify supplied screenshots. Source citations are not endorsements of MRA. Research supports specific components; this proposed MRA model has not been clinically tested.

IMPORTANT SOURCE DECISION
The supplied images omit Tradition 8. The transcript marks it missing. The platform explicitly offers privacy and consent as a NEW proposed Tradition 8 rather than pretending to recover the original. Another explicit proposed revision permits a personally meaningful abstinence anniversary without clean-time ranks, resets or privileges. Members should decide these points openly.

BEFORE INVITING PEOPLE INTO SUPPORT
The first invitation is to co-design. Assign actual stewards, check Discord permissions, choose verified reporting contacts, agree on privacy limits and confirm independent initial/appeal reviewers. Prepare both required meeting volunteers and replacement coverage. Publish actual hours and locally relevant resources. Start sensitive peer activity only when the handbook's readiness conditions are met. The package does not invent a live invitation link or a staffed schedule.

PRINT AND SHARE
Use the trifold for a brief handout and the reading booklet for easier reading. Print a test copy before a run. Add only a verified current invitation to accompanying messages; do not fill an artwork space with an old link. The brand guide covers contrast, small-size use, clear space and phone previews. The name and mark have not received trademark or legal clearance.

REVIEW PERFORMED
The original material was transcribed and analyzed. The draft underwent a separate substantive review, with corrections to timeline, reviewer capacity, privacy, emergency authority, continuity, staffing and document hierarchy. Documents and graphics were rendered and visually checked, including the pamphlets. See the review document for the changes and decisions that still belong to the founding community.
