No. The proposed community welcomes different goals and appropriate supports, including abstinence, prescribed medication, harm reduction and treatment. Respecting a choice is different from claiming that every intervention is equally safe or effective.
No. You can listen, pass, keep notes private or contribute practical ideas. No diagnosis, trauma history, medication list or proof of abstinence is required to belong.
MRA is in its founding and co-design stage. The handbook proposes a small peer-support pilot after volunteers, privacy arrangements, reporting routes and independent reviewers are ready. This website does not announce an active meeting schedule.
Ryan is helping convene the founding conversation. MRA is proposed as a separately governed community with its own purpose, decisions and identity. The existing Trap House Discord is the proposed initial headquarters; members will decide the long-term home and control arrangements.
Yes. The proposal respects different recovery pathways and communities. No one has to leave a support system they value, adopt a belief, or reject a belief to participate.
A setback does not erase effort or dignity. Returning should not mean surrendering your voice or restarting your standing. Conduct and safety rules still apply, and immediate medical risks need appropriate professional help.
Online confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Participants can copy messages despite rules, and platform administrators may have access. Permissions and limits must be explained before sensitive peer activity begins. Share only what feels appropriate.
MRA and its Discord are not monitored crisis services. Do not wait for a community reply when there may be immediate danger.
